The instrumented Phyling skateboard
Analyze each trick thank to our integrated sensors.
Characterize each trick
Measure forces and accelerations developed by the skateboarder.
Improve your performances.
Two force sensors are located under the trucks to collect forces developed by each foot during a trick.
The global force developed during a jump can be correlated with the height or length of the jump to improve the jump performance.
Prevent injuries.
We are able to analyze global force during the landing phase to quantify forces sustained by the athlete. Consequently, it is possible to quantify the harmfullness of a training session and prevent somes injuries (particularly stress fractures).
